Grosbeak's Have Skipped —

with No Comments

Anna did some research on the Grosbeak and found out that they Hop-Skip-Jump from place to place on their trek north.  Evidently they show up all of a sudden to places where the groceries are plentiful, logger-in for a few days, and then are gone as quickly as they arrived.  This is exactly what happened, because they no longer hog the bird feeder.  It was enjoyable watching their antics as a group, always in a group of 3-4 and flying like the A-1 Skyraider – not speed daemons, but can they maneuver.  Perhaps we’ll see them on a return trip.untitled-60
